Who we Are

Overview

The goal of our Virtual Bootcamp is to equip Canadian Immigrants who possess a background in technology with the tools to adapt to Canadian Work Experience requirements. Participants will learn about communication, Canadian culture, workplace expectations, resume building and interview skills. Our Bootcamp provides immigrants with a way to garner a deep understanding of the Canadian ecosystem and answer the big question of how to integrate into Canadian customs effectively.

Outcomes

What You Will Learn

Communication

Newcomers in the Technology sector believe having a strong technical background is sufficient when it comes to securing quality employment in Canada. However, the most important element of building a solid foundation in Canada and landing appropriate employment is excellence in communication skills. Career Trails program will teach you to be comfortable with the English language and help break down the barriers of language deficiencies.

Canadian Culture

Culture, known as the ‘way of life’ for societies, is the building block for effectively integrating into any new ecosystem. Here you’ll learn about yourself as you discover the rich Canadian history, its people, its icons, natural landscape and music to find your passions in Canada. Our team will help you discover where to find information, news, and trends that help facilitate a conversation with fellow Canadians.

Collaboration

Collaborative teamwork is the backbone of any business in Canada. Our team understands being a newcomer makes it difficult to collaborate upon arrival effectively. Knowing this, we help equip our students with a collaborative mindset, grouped with knowledge of the increasingly complex and intricate communication styles involved in the Technology sector.

Workplace Etiquette

It's difficult to understand what's expected of you in a new workplace, especially when migrating from a different country. Our team is here to help cultivate a solid understanding of workplace etiquette through teachings of professionalism, body language, mannerisms, in-person meetings & virtual meeting protocols

Job Applications & Procurement

Capturing the attention of future employers can be a daunting task. Through our online Bootcamp, we provide immigrants who possess skills in technology with confidence in their resumes and interview skills to land favourable employment.
